COVID-19: Racing to Racism; Running from Reality

Countries do not produce the pandemics; global warming, population increase, and the global travel industry are what is causing the increasing number of pandemics. For this very obvious reason, the previous administration set up a permanent department in the White House to coordinate global pandemics. They knew that pandemics were going to be a continuous problem.
China deserves blame for hiding this outbreak for first 3 weeks – a typical move from an authoritarian government. Yet, since that time, they have spanked Europe and the USA in controlling this disease.
The recent lie that came form China blaming US military for COVID-19 is the same lie that comes from governments, including our own, about pandemics – think AIDS. Quick! Blame the gays, whatever.
To my friends who spent time in our armed services.
Our country is under assault from a terrorist that is doubling in number every 2.5-5 days. Doubling from a beginning number that is unknown.
The tools to separate the terrorist from the civilian population have existed for 3 months. But because of ‘America First’ we refused to use these ‘foreign’ tools.
The troops are now dying by an exponentially increasing number. This weeks it will be in the tens, next week in the hundreds. That is baked in.
POTUS failed to deploy the most consequential tool in the battle against COVID-19 on the homeland for reasons of pure xenophobia. He failed to understand the enemy, fired the folks who did, and failed for months to deconflict the battle field commanders.
POTUS failed to put ‘eyes’ on the problem and we are still – EVEN F$%#ING NEXT WEEK – flying blind. No sane commander would put his troops in battle and leave critical tools on the shelf. Any commender who did would be find themselves in the brig.
And now China comes in to rescue the USA! Bringing masks and tests for us. That is embarrassing. That was USA. POTUS is making authoritarian governments look good.
Here are direct quotes form the Commander in Chief. It clearly depicts a complete disassociation from reality.
January 22: “We have it totally under control. It’s one person coming in from China. It’s going to be just fine.”
(Without testing, no one knows the number: Lie.)
February 2: “We pretty much shut it down coming in from China.”
(Shutting down China should have initiated immediate widespread surveillance testing with the WHO test and building of resources (masks, ventilators, etc: Fail.)
February 24: “The Coronavirus is very much under control in the USA… Stock Market starting to look very good to me!”
(Without testing, no one knows the number: Lie.)
February 25: “CDC and my Administration are doing a GREAT job of handling Coronavirus.”
(CDC test failed. WHO tests were available: Fail. Lie.)
February 25: “I think that’s a problem that’s going to go away… They have studied it. They know very much. In fact, we’re very close to a vaccine.”
(‘They’ said the vaccine was 12-18 months away: Lie)
February 26: “The 15 (cases in the US) within a couple of days is going to be down to close to zero.”
(A most profoundly ignorant statement. Without testing, no one knows: Lie.)
February 26: “We’re going very substantially down, not up.”
(Without testing, no one knows the number: Lie.)
February 27: “One day it’s like a miracle, it will disappear.”
(Magical thinking does not help. This will be with us forever: Lie.)
February 28: “We’re ordering a lot of supplies. We’re ordering a lot of, uh, elements that frankly we wouldn’t be ordering unless it was something like this. But we’re ordering a lot of different elements of medical.”
(Now a month late and with no one coordinating the plan: Weak.)
March 2: “You take a solid flu vaccine, you don’t think that could have an impact, or much of an impact, on corona?”
(So embarrassing – especially 2 months into this: Ignorant.)
March 2: “A lot of things are happening, a lot of very exciting things are happening and they’re happening very rapidly.”
(People are getting sick daily, dying daily, and still no tests: TRUTH!)
March 4: “If we have thousands or hundreds of thousands of people that get better just by, you know, sitting around and even going to work — some of them go to work, but they get better.”
(I just can’t tell you how damaging that is: Ignorant and Dangerous)
March 5: “I NEVER said people that are feeling sick should go to work.”
(See above: Lie)
March 5: “The United States… has, as of now, only 129 cases… and 11 deaths. We are working very hard to keep these numbers as low as possible!”
(Without testing, no one knows the number: Lie.)
March 6: “I think we’re doing a really good job in this country at keeping it down… a tremendous job at keeping it down.”
(Delusional people think many things; we should avoid believing them: Lie.
March 6: “Anybody right now, and yesterday, anybody that needs a test gets a test. They’re there. And the tests are beautiful…. the tests are all perfect like the letter was perfect. The transcription was perfect. Right? This was not as perfect as that but pretty good.”
(Uh….. Lie and Truth. Tests were absolutely not available – even to sick people. But …. ‘Perfect like the letter’… I guess, in that was also horrible….)
March 6: “I like this stuff. I really get it. People are surprised that I understand it… Every one of these doctors said, ‘How do you know so much about this?’ Maybe I have a natural ability. Maybe I should have done that instead of running for president.”
(Full on delusional. Raw mental illness on display: Sad)
March 6: “I don’t need to have the numbers double because of one ship that wasn’t our fault.”
(Whining on national television. Holy melting snowflake: Pathetic)
March 8: “We have a perfectly coordinated and fine tuned plan at the White House for our attack on CoronaVirus.”
(POTUS leadership style is conflict based; he loves the infighting. War requires deconfliction of leadership: Fail.)
March 9: “This blindsided the world.”
(This ‘blindsided’ China. The rest of the world had time: Lie)
March 11: “We’re having to fix a problem that four weeks ago nobody ever thought would be a problem.”
(POTUS fired the staff the would have known how to work this problem 3 years earlier. He fired them because it was created by the previous administration – out of spite: PROFOUND FAIL.)
March 13: “I am officially declaring a national emergency.”
(60-70 days late: Fail)
March 13: “I don’t take responsibility at all.”
(Of course not. That is what a real leader would do: Fail.)
Fox News viewers, your response to Ebola several years ago was far more anxious, yet this outbreak is literally going to be 100,000 times worse. That comes directly from your media diet; that was not and is not helpful. You’ve got to get off the Fox News horrors show of deceit a lies.
Every media steam makes mistakes. I watch media from the much of the globe. Fox tells its viewers a fantasy of hate against liberals and foreigners; and the love of a hero god POTUS who can do no wrong.
No American should hero worship anyone in government – that is profoundly un-American. Yet the FOX/POTUS cohort has become just that, a platform to worship blindly one of the most obscene men in the country.
